This year's event had more attractions than ever. The event was opened by the Town Council Mayor at 12 noon at the Community Centre followed by prizes awarded to Selby Fun Run competitors. There were 5 venues involved in the Fun Day as follows and the Vintage Bus, sponsored by the Market Cross and Selby College will be available from 12-4.30pm to take people around Selby, with drop off points on route.
Fun Run at Selby RUFC on Sandhill Lane, on SUNDAY JUNE 17th started at 11.00 am.
Selby Community Centre 12 noon - 4pm
Main Field - Children's rides and slides including donkey rides, trampolines and helter skelter. Charity Stalls and entertainment from Zoot.
Bottom Field - Dog Show - Holmefield Veterinary with proceeds to Guide Dogs. Frei Companie Medieval Re-enactment with horses and 'have a go Archery' as well as tents displaying food and lots more.
Main Hall - Gymnastics Display followed Selby Community Choir. Refreshments available throughout the day.
Town Hall 1.30pm - 4pm
1940's Tea Dance with DJ 'The Andersons' provided the entertainment from 1.30pm - 4.00pm. FREE entry for all. Micklegate Tea Rooms provided the refreshments with the proceeds to Age UK Selby District.
Recreation Ground - 12.30pm - 8pm
Live music from bands played throughout the afternoon. FREE entry for all. Lots of food and refreshments were available on the field. There was entry/exit points and bags checked with no problems found. Great event for all the family.

Selby Park - 12.30pm - 4pm
Markham Main Colliery Band https://www.mmcbb.co.uk/, Selby Music Centre and Selby Music Rooms Big Band entertained people on the Bandstand. Refreshments were available from the Pavilion. FREE entry.
Vintage Motorcycle and Car Rally 10am - 2pm
There was a vintage Motorcycle and car rally on Portholme Drive Car Park (opposite Morrisons). To enter your vehicle ring Selby Leisure Centre on 213758.
