  Selby Town Council is the local authority for the town of Selby and is committed to working with partners and residents to make Selby a vibrant market town.

There are 18 elected Councillors and 13 staff at the council which has its office base at the Town Hall on the junction of Gowthorpe, Brook Street and Leeds Road. Office opening hours are 10.00 am to 4.00 pm Monday to Friday.
